Make these red sponge balls appear and disappear, and multiply. For the grand finale, the spectator opens their hand thinking there's only a couple balls inside, and there's a whole handful! Very fun!

These 2-inch super-soft sponge balls are the best for several reasons:

1. Since they're 2 inches, we believe that to be the best size for easy handling
2. Since they are the super-soft variety, they feel softer and compress much more than regular sponge balls. This allows you to have more flexibility to do more tricks with them, since they'll compress to a smaller size than regular sponge balls. This also comes in handy when your audience member opens their hand for the grand finale and only thinks there would be a couple of balls inside. 
3. Kids love them! If a kid is ever crying, just pull one ball out of your pocket and hand it to them, and they'll instantly stop crying as they feel and squeeze the ball.  

Here's the basic's of what you can do. Sponge balls are such a strong thing to use, that many restaurant magicians use them as openers or as a closing routine for their sets. Start with one ball, it doubles to two. Put the two balls in the spectator's hand, and when they open it, it's three! Then make a few balls disappear and put a ball in the spectator's hand again. When they open it up, there's a whole handful of sponge balls! What fun!

Sponge balls are also just great for practicing that basic sleight of hand... they look so much better than a ball of paper or a crushed napkin. We suggest you get two boxes - 8 balls total, in order to have more balls in the spectator's hand at the end of your routine.
