Spread the deck face down on the table. Have your volunteer slide one card out of the deck. (Now you look at the card, and know what it is.) Have them pick up the card and memorize it - you'll even turn your back! With your back still turned, have them put it back into the deck and shuffle. Now it's easy to find their card - or just read their minds! We use a special method of marking cards. We carefully mark each card by hand - without giving the secret away, all you have to do is be able to read AC and know that card is the Ace of Clubs, 2D is Two of Diamonds, etc. And remember, we use Bicycle playing cards - so they don't look like a ""fake"" deck of cards. They'll look just like the cards everyone has used before. You could also use these in a game of Poker (not for money of course) or even a good ol' game of go fish! You'll always have the upper hand!
